Family law is part of the Private Law and in particular of the Civil Law. Contained in the fourth book of the Civil Code, specifically in the Articles 1346-1694 AK and govern, amongst others, relations between spouses, relations between parents and children, marriage issues, affinity, adoption, guardianship and medical assistance in human reproduction.

The Inheritance Law is the set of legal norms regulating the property relations of a person after his death. The property of the deceased, which consists of rights and obligations, shall be transferred, in accordance with the provisions of the law, considering his will. Often, questions are raised regarding the fate of such property, rights related to it, relationship between the heirs, property taxation etc.
